Our Core Values

Inspired by Tony Hsieh’s Delivering Happiness, Dave Logan, John King and Halee Fischer-Wright’s book Tribal Leadership and our brother computer service company, E-Geniuses, The House of Ruxspin has developed their own set of core values. By starting with this foundation, we were able to establish a wonderful culture of fun, respect and hard work.

  1. Approach life with optimism and the confidence to act silly.

Each new day is an opportunity to live your life better than the day before and as if it were your last. Attitude is important in the way you carry yourself and how others interact with you. Always keep in mind that your happiness is dependent on you. We have the confidence to act a little silly and take the time to look for fun in both our work and personal lives.

  2. Build relationships with a familial spirit.

The House of Ruxspin is built like a tight knit family. We work well together because we trust and care for each other beyond the typical co-worker relationship. In addition to working together, we play together. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to see us hanging out outside of the office.

  3. Recognize effort and exceptional abilities.

Celebrating extra effort and getting recognition for your accomplishments not only makes you feel good but let’s you know you’re on the right track.

  4. Create something valuable and fill an unfulfilled void.

Being innovative, creating something new and improving on ideas and things are vital for the progression of our world. It would be useless, wasteful and not to mention boring if we re-made the same thing over and over again!

  5. Be honest, open-minded and respectful.

We believe that having a mutual respect for everyone and everything, being honest and keeping an open-mind will keep life’s stresses to a minimum and help us enjoy it fully. It’s vital that we treat others the way we’d like to be treated.

  6. Take a leadership role and be responsible for your actions.

At The House of Ruxspin, everyone is accountable for their actions and the decisions they make. Being a leader at any capacity takes courage and strength.

  7. Be humble and ambitious.

Personal, professional and team accomplishments should always be acknowledged but never thrown in anyone’s face or made known in an arrogant way. It’s important that we’re humble in our successes, while striving to learn and accomplish more.

  8. Be prepared and adaptable.

It’s important that our team and the websites we build be ready and adaptable for new situations and change. Staying stagnant in a constantly changing environment is a key ingredient for failure. Life and the web are unpredictable, if we make the most out of any situation we’re in by being prepared, we all benefit.
